Visited Stella pastry upon a friends recommendation. The street is busy with by passers, outdoor seating areas and pups tucked under the safety of their owners. Some know about this little dimple in the city. If you're not looking you could pass it without even knowing. Once you make it up the little hump you realize this is something pretty special.

My friend and I walked by this spot and really wanted a cream puff so we just had to stop by. It's a cute bakery with lots of little pastry and cake options. We came by on a Sunday evening, and there was a bit of a line but we were able to snag a seat.

Tiramisu and Sacripantina! These alone make Stella Pastry & Cafe 5 stars! Parking is a challenge. The other pastries we ordered were just ok. But they arguably have the best Tiramisu ever in SF!

Felt welcomed, not rushed. I asked for the worker's opinion. Great price for such great product. Hubby and I shared a slice of the chocolate truffle cake and ordered cookies. We ate the cake here and it was rich, but not over the top, and we originally took our other items in a box, tied with string, to go. Both my husband and I agree that the heart shaped butter cookie with chocolate was our favorite cookie there. He also really enjoyed the horseshoes and florentine, and Ossi Di Morto (they have a biscotti type texture) cookies.

Love love love~ This is my go-to-place for Tiramisu in SF. I have been here multiple times, dine in or take out . tiramisu is what I would order for the table . Their tiramisu is not too sweet and very strong coffee flavor that you expect from a tiramisu. There is just one time that the tiramisu taste a bit watery than creamy, so need to try it another time.
